Progress Reset

Use this tool to reset progress for specific learners.

Before resetting progress:

Decide whether to reset course progress, quiz progress or both
Choose the most appropriate reset option for the users, courses or teams involved
Always run a Dry Run Report before clicking Reset Progress

The Dry Run Report allows you to review which learners and courses will be affected before any progress data is reset. Please review the guidance below before proceeding.

Important Guidance

Before resetting progress, first decide whether you want to reset:

Course progress
Quiz progress
Or both

Next, choose one of the following reset methods:

Reset By Users
Use this option when resetting progress for specific users.

Select the user(s)

Select the relevant course(s)

To select all users or courses, you can type “All” in the search box and then click on “Select All” in the dropdown.
Reset by Courses
Use this option when resetting progress for a group of users on a specific course.

Select the course(s)

Select the relevant user(s)

To select all users or courses, you can type “All” in the search box and then click on “Select All” in the dropdown.
Reset by Groups / Teams
Use this option when resetting progress for an entire team.

Select the relevant group(s) / team(s)

Select the relevant course(s)

Select the relevant user(s)

To select all teams, users or courses, you can type “All” in the search box and then click on “Select All” in the dropdown.

Before clicking Reset Progress, always run a Dry Run Report to confirm which learners and courses will be affected.
